We would like to remind everyone that the Corkbeg Main pitch and the Corkbeg Grass Training Pitch remain OUT OF USE for the next few weeks, as works continue on the Corkbeg grounds to improve the drainage of the playing surfaces.
This project was funded by the Department of Rural Community Development under the Community Recognition Fund and funded by Cork County Council under the Amenity Fund Scheme, particularly with the support of Cllr Ann Marie Ahern. The project was also supported by the local community, club members and local businesses.

So, please, STAY OFF THE GRASS PITCHES until further notice. There is some great work being done on the pitches right now and we can't have the pitches being used while this is being done.
While we're on the subject, we also need to highlight the lack of care and common sense in relation to our playing surface during the summer months. We recently found broken glass scattered around the goalmouth of the grass training pitch and we don't need to emphasise what broken glass could do to anyone using our pitches. PLEASE, if you are using our facilities when it is safe and clear to do so, do not bring glass bottles down to the playing surfaces and PLEASE clean up after yourselves - take your rubbish home with you.
Thank you for your cooperation with these matters.
